The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme

The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme provides support that can help minimise emissions from public sector buildings. By 2037, a target of lowering emissions by 75% has been agreed upon when compared to the benchmark established in 2017. This was set out within the 2021 Net Zero and Heat and Buildings approaches. The Pure High Temperature Heat Pump ranges are the next generation of Heat Pumps, providing as much as 120C flow temperatures, they are ideal for both retrofit and new here build purposes. At the time of writing this written content (Oct 2022), the scheme’s Phase 3b application window is now open. The advice notes, application form and application portal can be obtained on the Salix Finance website. Stage 3b will supply around £635 million of funding over the financial years 2023 to 2025.
